About Us:

We are currently looking for someone to join us full-time, however we are absolutely open to discussing part-time arrangements for the right person. Our team works full days Monday to Thursday, with a half day on Fridays (finishing at 12pm), helping support a great work–life balance.
n

Our clinic is located in Taren Point NSW (onsite parking), but we also do some mobile sessions within the Sutherland Shire. We provide paediatric Allied Health services for children aged 1 to 18 years with a range of developmental needs, difficulties, disabilities and delays.
n
We are a small but strong team of Allied Health Professionals ~ Speech pathology, Occupational therapy, Dietetics. We also come together to form a feeding team for feeding therapy. We have a Clinic Warrior, for full time admin support. Each day includes approximately 1–2 hours dedicated to supervision, professional development, team collaboration, staff (fun) activities, communal lunch, and other clinical tasks.

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an occupational therapist to join our growing team. The position can be tailored to best meet your needs and will be remunerated accordingly.
n

You would be providing occupational therapy services within a supportive environment, under the supervision of our Allied Health Director, a senior occupational therapist and/or with external professional supervision.

- Choose your days Monday - Saturday.
n
- Carry out individual, group and joint Occupational Therapy sessions.
n
- Work with children from 12 months - 18 years with simple or complex needs.
n
- Team meeting & staff development time scheduled weekly. We have time allocated to socialise with the team, case conference, plan & prep and work from home.We scheduled 'staff development days' quarterly and clinical breaks every school holidays.
n
- Regular paid supervision internally & externally.
n
- Annual professional development days and PD budget.
n
- You can BYOD or get a company device (e.g. laptop or iPad).
n

Application Criteria
n
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or masters)
n
- Current AHPRA and/or Occupational Therapy Board of Aus membership
n
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
n
- Eligibility for a Medicare Provider number
n
- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
n
- Current drivers' licence with eligibility to drive in NSW, if willing to see mobile clients
n
- Sound organisational and time management skills
n
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal and team growth and willingness to support children and their families.
n
- Experience working with children who have a disability/ additional needs is advantageous
n
- Training in Sensory Integration is advantageous
n
- Training in the SOS feeding program is advantageous
n
- Training in Mental Health, to practice under the Medicare Mental Health Plan is advantageous
