Eastern Suburbs Private Hospital (ESPH), located in Randwick, is part of the Macquarie Health network. We are a boutique 38 bed Medical and Rehabilitation hospital. We have a committed team of Rehabilitation Specialists, Allied Health and Nursing staff, dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The Role

We are looking for Registered Nurses and EENs on a permanent full time/part time/casual basis. In accordance with a rotating roster, you will be expected to work some night shifts.

We are also looking for dynamic Nurses keen to explore other opportunities outside the realms of their current Nursing practice.

Duties

- Provide safe and effective nursing care specific to each patient’s clinical, physical and psycho-social needs.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in conjunction with the patient’s comprehensive care plan and goals of care.
- Supervise the health, safety, nutrition,



hygiene and comfort of the patient.
- Respect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Honour the cultural beliefs and practices of our diverse patient population.
- Encourage communication between the patient and their family/carer and members of the health care team.
- Ensure accurate and informed handovers to deliver continuous patient care.
- Document accurate and contemporaneous clinical notes.

To be successful in the role you will need

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting in Australia.
- Working with children clearance, National Criminal Record Check.
- Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary team.
- Working knowledge of Quality and the NSQHS standards.
- Team leader skills and experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- FIMS accredited and AROC endorsed accredited.
- Experienced as a quality controller.
- Training and education (TAE) certified trainer.
- Experience in Quality Management.

What we offer

- Registered Nurse: $36.00 - $48.00 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, plus penalties.
- Endorsed Enrolled Nurse: $ 30 - $36 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, plus penalties.
