As our Workshop Administrator, you'll play a key role in keeping our busy workshop running smoothly. This position combines administration, customer service, and workshop support duties, including assisting with parts enquiries and coordinating day-to-day workshop operations.
Key responsibilities
- Front Counter and Answering phones
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and other Diesel Care Branches
- Booking jobs, managing job cards and workshop documentation
- Preparing invoices and processing paperwork
- Ordering and sourcing parts for workshop jobs
- General administration and data entry
- Assisting with stock and inventory control
- Supporting the workshop and warehouse team with daily operations
About you
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Valuable computer skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical or automotive knowledge is an advantage but not essential
- Experience in administration, parts interpreting, or a workshop environment would be highly regarded
