Dentist on Waverley is a well-established, family-focused practice in Wheelers Hill with a reputation for delivering exceptional dentistry in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We're now seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join us on a casual basis – offering flexibility to fit around your lifestyle, 2 to 3 days a week. (Monday, Tuesday & Friday)

Your day-to-day will include:

n

n
- Chairside assistance – supporting dentists during procedures with instrument handling, material mixing, and smooth workflow coordination
n
- Sterilising, organising, and maintaining instruments and equipment to the highest standards
n
- Greeting and supporting patients, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable throughout their visit
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and patient records
n




- Managing front desk tasks including booking appointments and handling enquiries
n
- Preparing and stocking treatment rooms for the day's patients
n

n

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Previous experience or qualifications in Dental Assisting (Cert III or equivalent preferred)
n
- A friendly, professional manner with robust communication skills
n
- High attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and infection control
n
- Knowledge of Exact dental software (preferred but not essential)
n
- A flexible, can-do approach and ability to thrive in a busy practice
n
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care
n
