Job Description
Registered Nurse (Aged Care)
n
Apply for the Registered Nurse role at Uniting located at St Ives North Shore. The position is part‐time and offers flexible start/finish times.

What you'll be doing in this role
n
n
- You will be a clinical leader in the service and develop, deliver, and evaluate resident care plans to meet individual needs.
n
- You'll use sharp clinical assessment skills and lead in providing clinical services.
n
- Get to know each resident and become a fundamental part of their life.
n
- Play an important role in ensuring the care provided meets residents' individual goals.
n
- You'll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents' family members to advocate for clients' quality of life.
n
- Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
n
- Practice holistically, using critical decision‐making skills to lead the team.
n
n

Who we're looking for
n
n
- Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care with nursing experience in the wider health sector.
n
- Adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, with excellent time‐management skills and the ability to live Uniting's everyday values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
n
- Committed to contemporary aged care nursing practice.
n
- Hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
n
