ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a leading geotechnical engineering contractor based in Melbourne, VIC . This is a great opportunity to work on major piling and ground improvement projects while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and review geotechnical and structural designs.
- Support tenders, estimates, and project delivery.
- Carry out design analysis and numerical modelling.
- Provide technical support to project teams.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Ensure designs meet Australian Standards and client requirements.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

- Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- 7–10+ years of geotechnical design experience.
- Strong background in piling, foundations, or ground improvement.
- Experience using Plaxis, WALLAP,



RAPT, ADSEC, or similar software.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Skilled Engineer status or ability to obtain registration in Australia is preferred.
