About the position

Reporting to the Director, Data & Applications, you will take ownership of ARENA’s enterprise applications portfolio and emerging AI agenda.

ARENA already has a broad applications landscape and capable technical partners. What it needs is stronger internal product ownership connecting those systems to business priorities and measurable outcomes. You will work with stakeholders to understand how work is performed, where friction exists and what outcome they need, questioning whether current technology is required or existing capability can solve the problem.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and will be required to undergo a national police check.

Employment framework and classification





ARENA employees are engaged under the Australian Renewable Energy Agency Act 2011. They are not the same as Australian Public Service (APS) employees, who are employed under the Public Service Act 1999.

ARENA’s employment conditions and classifications may differ from those of APS departments and agencies.

Positions are classified based on the nature and scope of the duties required to be performed. Job level and remuneration are determined with regard to:

- the complexity of the role
- the level of responsibility
- the skills and capabilities require
