We are a Boutique – Certifield Practice Accounting Tax Firm located in Fitzroy North, Melbourne.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Business Services Accountant to join our growing team.

n

Our business clients are diverse and range in size and industry. As you progress through your role, you will be exposed to a variety of tasks.

n

To be successful in this role, we seek the following qualities:

n

2 years plus of previous experience in a public practice accounting firm in Australia.

n

Intention to start CA/CPA in the future or undertaking the program.

n

High energy and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations.

n

The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

n

Solid dedication to teamwork, a willingness to work hard,



learn and develop new skills using the latest technology.

n

Experience in Handisoft, BGL 360, MYOB Essential and Xero is preferred.

n

The right to work in Australia.

n

Duties and Responsibilities:

n

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.

n

Preparation of the Monthly/Quarterly Instalment Activity Statements and Business Activity Statements.

n

Assisting with bookkeeping task such as processing Bank Feed and Single Touch Payroll.

n

Work with ATO to manage clients' needs.

n
