The Opportunity

Join a highly regarded and large Private Australian property group as a senior Finance Manager. The role will lead the assets finance function across a substantial and diverse property portfolio. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will lead a small and highly capable team and take ownership of the financial performance and reporting across a significant portfolio of assets. This is a commercially focused role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence business and investment decisions. The role offers a broad mix of commercial property finance, team leadership and financial management, within a sophisticated finance function undergoing systems and process transformation.

The Challenge

- Lead the Assets Finance team and partner closely with Asset Management to drive financial performance.
- Own monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting,



cash management and financial controls.
- Provide commercial analysis, modelling and insights to identify performance and efficiency opportunities.
- Develop KPI and dashboard reporting to support better business and investment decisions.
- Lead and develop the team while driving process improvement and stronger ways of working.
- Partner with senior stakeholders and external parties including auditors, bankers and advisers.

The Expertise

- CA/CPA qualified with strong commercial finance experience in property, assets or a similar environment
- Experience managing finance across a complex and diverse portfolio
- Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow capability
- Commercially minded business partner, confident engaging with senior stakeholders
- Previous team leadership experience with a genuine interest in developing others
- Strong analytical capability, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Comfortable driving systems, process improvement and transformation initiatives
- Robust commercial acumen with the ability to understand and influence key performance drivers
