DXT is a growing NSW transport and logistics provider with an extensive regional network and a reputation for delivering exceptional service to our customers.

We are seeking an experienced Sydney Depot Manager to lead our largest operation based at Moorebank.

n

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead a team of Supervisors, Allocators, Warehouse staff and Drivers to deliver a safe, efficient and profitable operation.

n

This is a leadership role focused on developing people, driving accountability and ensuring our operational teams consistently achieve outstanding service outcomes.

n

Working Hours
n Monday to Friday with a start time between 10:00am and 11:00am, allowing you to oversee our afternoon operations and nightly linehaul dispatch.

n

About the Role

n

You will be responsible for leading the Sydney Depot by:

n

n
- Coaching and developing Supervisors and operational teams to achieve success.
n
- Driving a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
n
- Ensuring operational KPIs are consistently achieved, including service, scanning compliance and productivity.
n
- Managing labour, fleet and subcontractor resources to maximize operational efficiency.
n
- Supporting robust customer relationships through proactive leadership and problem solving.
n
- Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to deliver business objectives.
n

About You

n

To be successful you will bring:

n

n
- Previous management experience within the transport, freight or logistics industry.
n
- Proven experience leading large operational teams.
n
- Strong understanding of linehaul and metropolitan pickup and delivery operations.
n
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVAS, fatigue management and Dangerous Goods requirements.
n
- Robust commercial acumen with experience managing labour and operational costs.
n
- Excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills.
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
n
- Current Forklift License.
n
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
n
