Our client's well established branch in Cairns are looking for it's next Operations Manager to lead and support with team in their daily operations.

The Role

n

As Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of branch operations, ensuring daily jobs are completely smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to a Multi Site Manager, day to day you will have a good level of autonomy over operations.

n
- Managing fleet and operator allocation
n
- Maximising productivity amongst the team - workshop, mechanics, customer service and administration
n
- Managing Client relationships - with high level communication providing timely updates
n
- Troubleshooting any issues with client or equipment
n




- Supporting the team to deliver high standards of customer service and operational performance
n
- Streamlining Logistics, Coordinate scheduling and dispatch to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
n
- Ensuring all rental equipment is available, well-maintained, and safe to use
n
- Administrative duties such as overseeing invoicing, hire documentation, and enforcing WHS compliance
n
- Hours - 7am-5pm
n

You will have

n
- Demonstrated experience in operations, fleet coordination, or equipment hire/logistics
n
- Strong leadership and team development abilities
n
- Solid knowledge of heavy equipment operations and servicing
n
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
n
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools
n
- Highly organised with robust attention to detail and time management
n
- The role has both fast paced and busy periods as well as quieter periods so someone who can operate well with both style of work
n
- A proactive mindset and able to 'close the loop' and keep clients informed
