About the Role

n

Our client, Kurri Kurri Bowling Club, is seeking a motivated and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team.

n

The Club offers a relaxed dining experience supported by an extensive beverage range and a vibrant entertainment schedule. With exciting projects on the horizon, this is a great opportunity for a hospitality professional who takes pride in quality, consistency and teamwork.

n

Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality meals to members and guests while maintaining robust kitchen standards and supporting a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

n

n




- Prepare and present high-quality meals in line with menu standards
n
- Assist with menu development and daily specials
n
- Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
n
- Support stock control, ordering and waste management processes
n
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance
n
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
n
- Contribute to a positive, efficient and professional kitchen environment
n

n

About You

n

You are a hands-on and reliable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will bring:

n

n
- Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery
n
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment
n
- Strong technical cooking skills and food knowledge
n
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Ability to work nights and weekends
n
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
