Our Town Fencing is currently seeking a Sales and Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Tuggerah NSW.

The Role:

n

You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining our store's presentation, and supporting the efficient operations of our warehouse.

n

Location: Tuggerah, NSW

n

Working hours: Monday - Friday, every second Saturday 8-1.

n

Hourly rate: $36 an hour at a SNR casual rate

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

n

n
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (training provided if required).
n
- Load and unload deliveries for customers efficiently and safely.
n
- Receive stock and manage inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
n
- Pick and pack customers' orders with attention to detail.
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone.
n
- Assist customers with product selection, order processing, and general inquiries.
n
- Support monthly stocktakes.
n
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe and productive warehouse environment
n

What we are looking for:

n

- Previous experience in retail or sales, ideally in building supplies or home improvement.
n
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
n
- Forklift licence preferred (training available); MR licence a bonus.
n
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
n
- Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy materials.
n
- Detail-oriented with a tidy organised approach.
n
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
n
- Basic computer skills for inventory and sales systems.
n
