The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our largest long day care and integrated kindergarten service in Keilor East.
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead high-quality educational programs within a well-established and collaborative early years team. You will play a key role in shaping children's learning and development, mentoring educators, and fostering strong partnerships with families to ensure every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn.
Working within a large integrated service, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the early years journey while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in education and care.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development, implementation and evaluation of engaging, play-based learning programs
- Working in accordance with the National Quality Framework, Child Safe Standards and approved learning frameworks
- Supporting and mentoring educators to deliver high-quality educational practice
- Observing, documenting and assessing children's learning and development to inform planning and individual learning goals
- Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Contributing to reflective practice, service improvement and a culture of qualified learning
- Creating inclusive learning environments that support children's wellbeing, belonging and development
About You
- Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised under the Education and Care National Law Act 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (Early Childhood) registration
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Child Safe Standards and approved learning frameworks
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality educational programs and guiding educator practice
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with children, families, colleagues and the broader community
- Excellent communication, organisational and reflective practice skills
- Current (or willingness to obtain) First Aid Level 2, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management qualifications
