Front End Developer (Flutter / React / Mobile)

n Certus Recruitment Group is partnered with a growing technology organisation in Parramatta to hire aFront End Developerwith strong experience across both web and mobile platforms.
n Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, you'll work across React/TypeScript for web and Flutter for Android/iOS, helping to bring more development in-house, speed up delivery, and standardise front-end engineering practices.
n You'll collaborate with the Senior Front-End Developer, Core Systems, and QA teams to support new feature development, resolve UI issues, and improve the overall user experience across the product suite.
n Responsibilities
n Front-End & Mobile Development

n

n
- Build and maintain responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
n
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter (Dart) for Android and iOS.
n
- Support native mobile development when required (Kotlin/Java, Swift).
n
- Integrate applications with backend APIs, services, and authentication systems.
n
- Contribute to component libraries, design systems, theming, and accessibility standards.
n
- Support ongoing UX/UI improvements.
n

Collaboration & Support

n

n
- Work closely with the Senior Front-End Developer to align and streamline development practices.
n
- Collaborate with QA and Core Systems teams to reproduce and resolve UI or integration issues.
n
- Participate in sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and DevOps processes.
n
- Assist with build, packaging, and deployment workflows for web and mobile releases.
n

Modernisation & Continuous Improvement

n

n
- Assist in migrating legacy UI components to React and Flutter.
n
- Implement automated UI testing (unit, integration).
n




- Contribute to documentation and shared engineering knowledge.
n
- Recommend improvements for performance, maintainability, and usability.
n

Requirements Essential Skills & Experience

n

n
- 3–5 years' experience in front-end or mobile development.
n
- Robust hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
n
- Demonstrated experience building mobile apps with Flutter (Dart).
n
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, and mobile build toolchains.
n
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and authentication systems.
n
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and UI optimisation.
n
- Experience using Git and working within team-based workflows.
n

Desirable Skills

n

n
- Native Android development (Kotlin/Java) or iOS development (Swift).
n
- Experience publishing mobile apps to Google Play or the Apple App Store.
n
- Experience with analytics, push notifications, or in-app messaging.
n
- Collaboration with UI/UX teams using tools such as Figma or Zeplin.
n
- Experience with automated testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Flutter Test).
n
- CI/CD exposure for web and mobile builds.
n

Qualifications

n

- 3–5 years of software development experience.
n
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering (Computer Science major preferred).
n
