About the role:
n
We have afull-time Team Leaderrole available in Bathurst within ourAccommodation Division. Our Accommodation Division offers support to individuals living with disability, in a diverse range of housing options, that meets the individuals needs. As a Team Leader, you'll supervise the smooth operations of group homes, with participants that require 24/7 care.
We'll support you along your carer journey and give you the opportunity to develop into the best leader you can be.

Key responsibilities include:
n
Leading a team of passionate Disability Support Workers and empower them to provide high quality supports to participants
n
Communicating with families, guardians and a variety of stakeholders as required to discuss participants progress and barriers
n
Assisting participants with daily tasks such as personal care, health and hygienewhile making their dignity and independence a top priority
n
Assisting participants to work towards achieving their goals and aspirations
n
Supporting and guiding Disability Support Workers to develop their knowledge and skills
n
Maintaining compliance with participant and staff records within your area of responsibility
n
Maintaining the day-to-day roster schedule and filling shifts as required within your area of responsibility
n
Foster a culture of inclusion, respect and continuous improvement
n
Are You Our Ideal Candidate? We're looking for someone with the following:
n
Previous leadership experience within disability- extremelydesirable
n
Previous leadership experience- highly desirable
n
Understanding of the NDIS and achieving person centred outcomes
n
Strong computer skills and experience using data management systems
n
First Aid Certificate
n
NDIS Worker Check
n
Working with Children Check
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Positive and professional attitude and approach to work
n
