Commercial & Litigation Lawyer – Quality Work in the Shire

Johnsons Law Group is a well-established NSW firm with a solid reputation across commercial, property, litigation and estate work. We are expanding into the Sutherland Shire, and we are looking for an experienced commercial and litigation lawyer to join us at our Caringbah office.

You will work directly alongside one of our Partners, a Law Society of NSW Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation, taking carriage of a varied commercial and litigation caseload.

About the role

n

Working closely with the Partner, you will:

n

Assist with and take carriage of commercial transactions, including business acquisitions, sales, leasing and corporate matters

n

Run commercial, property and estate litigation matters

n

Draft pleadings, advices, agreements and correspondence to a high standard

n





Manage client relationships and matters with increasing autonomy over time

n

About you

n

We are looking for a lawyer who brings:

n

Admission as a solicitor in NSW with a current practising certificate

n

At least 3 to 5 years post-admission experience across commercial transactions and litigation (more senior candidates encouraged to apply)

n

Sound technical knowledge and strong drafting skills

n

The ability to work independently while taking direction from a supervising partner

n

Sharp attention to detail and sound commercial judgement

n

Ideally, a connection to or familiarity with the Sutherland Shire

n
