n We're partnering with a well-established Australian food manufacturer to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support multiple manufacturing facilities across New South Wales.
n This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you'll work closely with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture, improve compliance, and help drive continuous improvement across several production sites.
n The Opportunity
n Reporting to the Group WHS Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering practical health and safety support across manufacturing operations. This is a hands‐on position suited to someone who enjoys being on the factory floor, coaching leaders, engaging with employees, and ensuring safety systems are embedded into everyday operations.
n Regular travel between NSW sites forms part of the role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and building relationships across different teams.
n Key Responsibilities
n

- Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits and risk assessments across multiple manufacturing sites
n
- Support incident investigations, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
n
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and WHS training to employees and contractors
n
- Assist in maintaining and improving the company's WHS Management System
n
- Monitor safety performance and prepare reports on key WHS metrics and trends
n
- Partner with operational leaders to promote a proactive safety culture
n
- Develop and review Safe Work Procedures,
risk assessments and other safety documentation
n
- Support contractor management, compliance activities and ongoing legislative requirements
n
- Provide practical coaching and advice on workplace health and safety matters
n
n
About You We're looking for an experienced safety professional who enjoys working closely with operations and building positive relationships across manufacturing environments. You'll ideally have:
n
n
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety, WHS or Safety Advisor role within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing or another industrial environment
n
- Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Experience conducting audits, investigations and safety training
n
- Solid reporting and administrative capability
n
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between NSW sites
n
