Your opportunity is to manage the operational delivery of clinical services for this multi-disciplinary clinical team within Mental Health and Specialised Services (MHSS) within Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. You will also apply well-developed clinical knowledge and skills to contribute to the strategic direction of this team and provide authoritative advice to stakeholders.

The Nurse Manager / Program Manager provides operational line management and direction for the community / sub-acute team's workforce across Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, and acts as the reference point both within and outside Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service for relevant operational matters.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Deliver a specialist level of skill in one or more areas of a complex or critical nature with the ability to independently apply specialist and novel judgement to meet the needs of patients across the continuum of care.
n
- Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.
n
- Possess advanced clinical leadership abilities and facilitates the integration of services across specialties within a clinical area to coordinate the delivery of effective community / sub-acute team services across Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

- Provide high-level clinical advice within area of expertise to clinicians, qualified and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards, service initiatives, service needs and clinical service development.

Remuneration value up to $172 615 p.a., comprising salary between $144 991 - $151 289 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) or Remuneration value up to $173 368 p.a., comprising salary between $139 951 - $151 949 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7).
