L3 Supply Support Officer - due to submit 28/08/2026

We are seeking a highly motivated L3 Supply Support Officer to support CoA client in Canberra. In this role, candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain processes to ensure the efficient delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor inventory levels, forecast demands, and coordinate procurement activities while adhering to compliance standards. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes. Prior experience in supply chain management or logistics is highly desirable, along with familiarity with relevant systems and tools.
Supply Support Officer
- - Conduct supply support analysis to determine initial provisioning lists, spares quantities,
and inventory requirements:
- - Analyse reliability, maintenance, and usage data to forecast spare parts demand and optimise stock levels.
- - Develop and maintain supply support documentation, including supply support plans, provisioning lists, and supportability reports.
- - Perform codification activities, including identification, classification, and registration of items (e.g. NSNs) in Defence logistics systems.
- - Maintain and manage accurate logistics and catalogue data in accordance with Defence standards and processes.
- - Work closely with RAM engineers and maintenance planners to align spares demand with failure rates and maintenance activities.
- - Support design and optimisation of supply chain solutions for deployed littoral operations, including remote and austere environments.
- - Coordinate with OEMs, engineers, and Defence stakeholders to obtain technical data and resolve supply-related issues.
- - Identify and mitigate supply support risks such as obsolescence, long lead-time items, and supply chain disruptions.
- - Recommend improvements to increase fleet availability and operational readiness.
