Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Database Focus)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong SQL Server and/or Oracle DBA background to join a large, complex enterprise environment. You'll work on critical systems, lead technical initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while helping shape future‐state database solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Managing and supporting enterprise database environments
n
- Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
n
- Availability, backup, disaster recovery, patching, and upgrades
n
- Working closely with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams
n
- Driving continuous improvement and modernisation initiatives
n

n





What We're Looking For

n

n
- 5+ years' experience as an Enterprise DBA (SQL Server 2019-2022 and/or Oracle 19c+)
n
- Solid experience with Always On Availability Groups and/or Oracle Always‐On monitoring
n
- Proven performance tuning and troubleshooting capability
n
- Able to work autonomously and guide junior engineers
n
- Current NV1 security clearance
n
