We're on the lookout for a Full Time Accounts Receivable Officer to join our fun and dynamic Accounts Team.
n
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for making collections, allocating debtor payments, maintaining customer accounts, resolving account queries, and checking of orders prior to release.
n
THE ROLE:
n
Managing a portfolio of interstate debtors your key responsibilities in the role include:
n

- Working with customers to resolve outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans.
n
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies & queries.
n
- Recommend actions for the creation of customer accounts, apply credit limits & releasing orders on hold.
n
- Provide exceptional customer service & build strong relationships with Customers & Sales Agents by exercising empathy & understanding.
n
n
You will work as part of the Accounts Receivable team and take responsibility for the below:
n
n
- Inbound / outbound calls to collect and negotiate payments on overdue accounts.
n
- Receipt and Allocate Credit Card payments.
n
- Reconciliation of daily banking statements for transactions, posting transactions to customer accounts.
n
- Manage a shared email inbox.
n

To be suitable for this role you will be able to demonstrate your ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, take direction and complete tasks in a timely and thorough manner.

You must be a team player, a great communicator, have excellent time management skills and a high level of accuracy in data entry/attention to detail.
