Our client is a significant Queensland sporting and racing organisation responsible for the governance and strategic oversight of one of SE Queensland's newest and most prominent sporting precincts.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Non-Executive Director to join the Board and help guide the organisation's strategic direction, strengthen governance practices and support its long-term success.

n

We are seeking an accomplished governance skilled with expertise in legal compliance, corporate governance and executive leadership to provide independent oversight, contribute to strategic decision-making, oversee organisational performance, and support executive leadership through CEO oversight,



succession planning and organisational culture.

The ideal candidate will bring:

- Previous Board or senior executive leadership experience.
n
- Strong expertise in corporate governance, legal and regulatory compliance, and risk management.
n
- Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial and organisational performance.
n
- Experience within sporting organisations, member-based organisations, licensed clubs, regulated industries or similarly complex environments.
n
- A collaborative leadership style, sound judgement, and a commitment to integrity, accountability and best-practice governance.
