We are a leading commercial façade contractor specializing in high-rise residential, commercial and mixed-use developments throughout Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship while working on some of Queensland's most exciting façade projects.

Position: Glazier

We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship while working on some of Queensland's most exciting façade projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

n

n
- Measure and assess glass sizes and installation requirements from drawings and site conditions.
n
- Install glazing into aluminium framing, windows, doors, curtain walls, screens and façade systems.
n
- Assemble and fabricate a wide variety of different façade elements.
n
- Remove and replace damaged or broken glass safely and efficiently.
n
- Prepare installation surfaces including cleaning and application of approved sealants and adhesives.
n




- Ensure correct alignment and positioning of glass and glazing systems.
n
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
n
- Work closely with Supervisors, Project Managers.
n
- Follow all WHS requirements and safe work procedures.
n
- Maintain tools, equipment and a clean work area.
n
- Complete relevant documentation and report issues.
n
- Computer literate, proficient in MS office suite
n

Key Selection Criteria

n

n
- Qualified Glazier or demonstrated commercial glazing experience.
n
- Experience fabricating commercial aluminium glazing and façade systems.
n
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
n
- Excellent technical insight and problem solving kills.
n
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
- Construction White Card (essential).
n
- Current driver's license.
n
- Computer literate, proficient in MS office suite
n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within our team.
n
