We're currently recruiting multiple Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Participation (Day Program) services.
n
About The Role
n
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred support that empowers people with disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
n
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
n
Support participants in their home with daily living, personal care, household tasks, community access and building independence.
n
Community Participation (Day Programs)
n
Support participants to develop life skills, participate in recreational activities, build social connections, learn recent skills and engage with their local community.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
- Deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and choice.
n
- Assist participants to achieve their individual goals and develop new skills.
n
- Support community participation, social inclusion and meaningful activities.
n
- Assist with personal care, medication support and daily living activities where required.
n
- Build positive relationships with participants, families, carers and allied health professionals.
n
- Complete accurate documentation and progress notes.
n
- Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver safe, consistent, high-quality supports.
n
- Promote a positive, inclusive and respectful environment for everyone.
n
n

You'll Be Someone Who
n
n
- Has experience in disability, aged care, community services or a similar support role (desirable but not essential).
n
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Is reliable, compassionate and professional.
n
- Can work independently while contributing positively to a team.
n
- Demonstrates initiative, resilience and a positive attitude.
n
- Is committed to delivering person-centred supports.
n
- Is flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and overnight shifts where required.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
n
- Current NSW Driver Licence
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
- National Police Check (completed within the last six months)
n
n
