Traffic Controller / Labourer – Truck & Manual Licence Required

n Projects across Mornington Peninsula Shire, Frankston City Council, Casey City Council, Kingston City Council & Baw Baw Shire

Future Civil Group is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Traffic Controller / Labourer to join our team on a full time basis.

n

The primary role is traffic control and traffic management.
n Labouring duties are secondary and required when traffic conditions allow.

n

The Role

n

You will be involved in traffic control and general civil support works across a range of projects, including:

n

n
- Traffic control and traffic management on active work sites (primary responsibility)
n
- Labouring support for excavation and clean up works including kerb & channel, footpaths and roadways toppling aimed seeding
n
- Saw-cutting using demolition saws
n
- Completing pre-start checks on plant and equipment
n
- General labouring and concreting duties as required when traffic allows
n

What You Need

n

To be considered for this role,



you must hold the following current licences and nationally accredited tickets:

n

n
- Traffic Controller Skill Set – RIISS00054 (or current approved equivalent)
n
- Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set – RIISS00055 (or current approved equivalent)
n
- Manual driver's licence
n
- Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) truck licence (preferred)
n
- Ability to use maps / GPS to travel between job locations
n
- Good communication skills
n

n

You must also be:

n

- Drug-free
n
- Punctual and reliable
n
- Hard-working with a positive attitude
n

n

Long sleeves and long pants are required at all times on site.

n

Hours

n

n
- Average 8 - 9 hours per day some overtime will be required
n
- 5 days per week
n
- Occasional weekend work as required
n

n
