We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Contracts & Compliance Team Leader to lead a high-performing Contracts Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong contracts qualified with leadership capability to step into a dynamic role where you can influence team culture, operational excellence, and client experience.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Head of Contracts, Legal & Compliance, you will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and technical support to the Contracts Team while ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and service excellence across the department.

n

You'll act as the key escalation point for complex contract and conveyancing matters, while also driving team engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead, mentor, and support the Contracts Team in a quick-paced environment
n
- Conduct regular team check-ins, performance reviews, and development discussions
n
- Oversee team workflows, daily stand-ups, and service delivery standards
n
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex contractual and compliance matters
n
- Provide guidance on contract preparation, risk identification, and conveyancing best practice
n
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
n




- Assist with internal training sessions and presentations for clients and stakeholders
n
- Collaborate on process improvements, innovation projects, and departmental initiatives
n
- Manage team rosters and oversee offshore support resources
n
- Contribute to the development of marketing and communication content for clients
n
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and compliance obligations
n

About You

- Proven experience in a team leadership or people management role

- Strong conveyancing and/or real estate contracts experience

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
