- This role will perform general electrical preventive maintenance and corrective repair of assets and building systems across our client sites.
n
- As well as day to day maintenance support this role will work with the maintenance planner and the technicians to include the day-to-day planning, implementation, coordination and management of our technical resources including the development of service programs to support our client's requirements.
n
- Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance and complete maintenance and repair records.
n
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
n
- Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed to complete repair.
n
- Order necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
n
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
n
- Inspect new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
n




- Maintain lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
n
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
n
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
n
- Willing to perform general handyperson duties as needed.
n

The Ideal Candidate

n

n
- Experience in repairs and Maintenance of electrical assets and systems ideally within the commercial sector.
n
- Critical environment experience would be advantageous.
n
- Experience in Testing and Inspection of assets and systems.
n
- Current and valid Electrical Contractors License.
n
- Relevant and valid OH&S; cards.
n
- Strong understanding of AS 3001.
n
- Valid Driver's License.
n
