Qualifications & experience

n

The ability to adjust and adapt communication and body language to best suit our clients is essential.

n

Completed certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent is required.

n

Initiative, empathy and the ability to think on your feet is a requirement of the role.





n

Current First Aid and CPR

n

Open car license and reliable insured vehicle is essential for the role.

n

Previous experience is desirable, but certainly not essential for the right candidate.

Tasks & responsibilities

n

Assisting clients with household tasks.

n

Providing personal care.

n

Supporting clients to learn recent skills, and encourage clients to build on their existing skills and strengths.

n

Supporting clients with everyday tasks like grocery shopping and meal preparation.

n

Working collaboratively with Allied Health professionals and informal support networks.

n

Provide clients with support to safely access the community and engage in meaningful activities.
