Spare Parts Interpreter / Procurement Coordinator
We're seeking a Spare Parts Interpreter / Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Emu Plains. This is a varied, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys a mix of desk‑based procurement work and practical warehouse involvement. You'll be responsible for sourcing and managing spare parts for our range of high‑speed rapid commercial doors and roller shutters, building out a comprehensive parts catalogue, and supporting our technicians with accurate, timely parts supply. Around 10 hours per week will be dedicated to warehouse duties, including inventory management and keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well‑organised.
The standard working hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday with occasional additional hours to support the business needs.

About the Role
As our Casual Storeperson, you will help ensure materials, parts, tools and equipment are received, stored and prepared efficiently for production, installation and service work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- - Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to identify and source correct spare parts for commercial doors and roller shutters
- Manage procurement of parts and components, liaising with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, availability, and timely delivery
- Build and maintain a structured parts catalogue to support ongoing operations and future growth
- Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement and supplier records, ideally within Simpro
- Undertake approximately 10 hours per week of warehouse duties, including receiving stock, inventory management, and stocktakes
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised in line with safe work practices
- Safely load, unload, and move stock using a forklift, ensuring loads are correctly secured
- Work closely with the service and technical teams to ensure parts availability aligns with job scheduling
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current forklift ticket (LF) is essential
- Previous experience in a parts interpreting, procurement, or inventory coordination role, ideally within doors, roller shutters, or a related trade/mechanical industry will be well regarded
- Proficiency with Simpro will be well regarded
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable splitting time between administrative/procurement tasks and practical warehouse work
- A safety‑first mindset and commitment to maintaining a clean, well‑run warehouse workplace
- Clear communication skills and a proactive, can‑do attitude
- A current driver’s licence, mechanical aptitude or previous experience supporting tradespeople will be well regarded.
- Experience in building product catalogues will be well regarded
