Promtel Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operator to join our team at our Castle Hill, NSW facility. This is a full‑time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead warehouse operations and contribute to the success of our 3PL warehousing, storage and distribution services. As a Senior Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse facilities, overseeing inventory management, coordinating logistics operations, and building a cohesive and effective warehouse team. This position is integral to maintaining our high standards of efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Overseeing and completing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatching of goods
- Managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and availability
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, high pickers and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Coordinating with warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Acting as a go‑to, experienced presence on the floor - guiding, training and sharing best practice with the team
- Maintaining warehouse organisation, cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with relevant regulations
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Maintaining integrity of our warehouse management system by recording warehouse activities and ensuring accurate records of inventory movements
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
- Troubleshooting operational issues and liaising with management to resolve problems promptly

What we’re looking for

- Someone who is looking to grow into a warehouse manager role and has an interest in robotics and automation
- Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse operations,



with at least 2 years in a supervisory or informal supervisory role
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts (high reach, double deep) and pallet handling equipment (relevant certifications required)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software
- Proven leadership and team supervision skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing inventory
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks daily
- Problem‑solving skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Confidence to work independently, balanced with a genuine team‑player mindset
- High school completion or equivalent qualification
- Preferred: Experience in 3PL or manufacturing distribution sectors
