Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician | Temp & Perm Options Available!

SustainHealth are seeking a Cardiac EP Technician to provide specialised technical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology procedures on a part‑time basis. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with electrophysiologists, nurses, radiographers, anaesthetists and other members of an MDT to ensure high-quality patient care.

About the Role

- Hospital setting with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and well‑established SOPs
- Be responsible for the preparation,



operation and troubleshooting of electrophysiology recording systems, cardiac mapping systems and other associated technologies
- Support EPs during diagnostic studies, atrial tachycardia and atrial flutter ablation, PVC ablation, pulmonary vein isolation, atrial fibrillation and more
- Perform pacing manoeuvres and programmed electrical stimulation as directed by the electrophysiologist
- Acquire, analyse, and interpret intracardiac electrograms under physician direction.
- Ensure appropriate image, data, and procedural record management.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) with Cardiac EP Technician experience
- Current BLS certification
- Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab, EP lab or cardiac device service.
- Prior experience operating electrophysiology recording systems
- Demonstrable knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and arrhythmia mechanisms
- Experience supporting diagnostic studies and ablation procedures.
