Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our busy logistics facility. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our operational lines moving smoothly, focusing heavily on automated conveyor systems and specialized labeling machinery.

This is an immediate temporary opportunity with strong potential for extension and a real pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Shift Flexibility

n

We are initially recruiting for a Day Shift ($63.51 ph) position. However, if you prefer or are open to working Night Shift ($82.56 ph), we have immediate flexibility to accommodate you due to an internal team shift request.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform reactive breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment.
n
- Troubleshoot and repair high-speed conveyor systems, sorting machinery, and automated label applicators.
n
- Diagnose electrical, control, and basic mechanical faults efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
n
- Work collaboratively in a dual-trade/buddy environment with another Electrician or Mechanical Fitter.
n
- Maintain accurate work records and uphold high safety standards (Lockout/Tagout, risk assessments).

What We Are Looking For

n

n
- Qualified Electrician (Current Electrical License/Registration required).
n
- Someone who loves getting stuck in, finding solutions, and keeping machinery running.
n
- Background maintaining conveyor networks, packaging machinery, or automated labeling systems within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.
n
- Robust diagnostic skills across PLC inputs/outputs, sensors, motors, and drives.
n
- Proven ability to work side-by-side with fellow tradespeople (electricians and fitters).
