We're looking for an Logistics Coordinator / Yard Coordinator to become the backbone of our Cairns branch.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being organised, takes ownership of their work, and keeps things moving without needing constant direction.

n

About the Role

n

You'll be responsible for ensuring our yard, equipment and logistics run smoothly each day.

n

n
- Coordinating the daily loading and unloading of trucks.
n
- Picking and packing equipment for upcoming jobs.
n
- Receiving and checking equipment returned from site.
n
- Maintaining an organised, clean and secure yard.
n
- Identifying damaged or missing equipment.
n
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance of equipment.
n
- Stock control and inventory management.
n
- Assisting with deliveries when required.
n
- Working closely with our Operations team to ensure crews have the right gear at the right time.
n
- Using technology and our internal systems to track equipment and keep accurate records.
n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organised and making sure the team can get out the gate each morning with everything they need.

We're looking for someone who:

- If you've spent time in scaffolding and are looking to move away from the daily grind on the tools while still using your industry knowledge, we'd love to hear from you.
n
- We're looking for someone who takes ownership, enjoys getting things done properly and wants to play an important role in the success of our Cairns branch.
n
- Has previous experience in scaffolding industry (highly regarded).
n
- Has a current MR Licence (willing to obtain).
n
- Holds a Forklift Licence (essential).
n
- Has a White Card. (essential).
n
- Open to learning programs with computers, tablets and mobile technology.
n
- Takes pride in keeping a tidy, well‐organised workplace.
n
- Has excellent time management and attention to detail.
n
- Can work independently and use initiative.
n
- Is reliable, dependable and follows through on commitments.
n
- Communicates well with both office staff and field crews.
n
- Wants to be part of a positive team culture.
