Gulf Civil is growing and we're looking for a Project Engineer to work across our Brisbane-based Pre-contracts team and live civil construction projects across QLD (local, regional, and remote as required).

About the Role

n

This role suits an engineer who enjoys seeing projects end-to-end, from tender handover through to delivery rather than being stuck purely behind a desk or permanently on site. You'll be involved early, contribute to planning and buildability, then support delivery teams on active works.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Support pre-contracts / tender teams with methodology development, programming input, and technical reviews
n
- Assist with project planning, procurement, and early works
n
- Work on live projects across: Roads & infrastructure Bulk earthworks Drainage & civil services
n
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
n




- Contribute to cost control, variations, and reporting
n
- Rotate between Brisbane office and site-based work as required
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
n

n

Required Skills

n

n
- Experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer in civil construction
n
- Exposure to: Roads, earthworks, drainage, or infrastructure projects
n
- Comfortable working between office and site environments
n
- Strong communication and practical problem-solving skills
n
- Willingness to travel regionally when required
n
