The role
n
We're looking for a Contracts Administrator to support the commercial delivery of projects across QLD. Based in Cairns, this role will also support project outcomes across QLD.
n
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in procurement, contract administration and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual, financial and programme requirements.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
- Manage subcontract procurement from tender through to contract execution
n
- Prepare tender documentation, evaluate submissions and support trade letting
n
- Administer subcontract agreements, variations and payment processes
n
- Support head contract administration including notices, EOTs and variations
n
- Assist with cost reporting, forecasting and commercial performance tracking
n
- Monitor subcontractor performance against budget, programme and scope
n
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of procurement and commercial outcomes
n
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and contract compliance
n
- Support project delivery through strong stakeholder coordination and communication
n
n
About You
n
Essential:
n
n
- Degree qualified in Construction Management or a similar discipline
n
- 3-7 years' experience in commercial construction (builder-side preferred)
n
- Experience in subcontract procurement and contract administration
n
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
n
- Ability to manage multiple trade packages and deadlines
n
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
n
- Confident communicator with the ability to build robust stakeholder relationships
n
- Strong systems capability
n
n
