Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will receive day-to-day accounting guidance and support, including oversight of relevant finance processes, with ongoing interaction with the Chief Financial Officer on activities supporting the finance team and growth of the business.

What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing monthly management accounts for our assets under management
- Prepare annual business and property outgoings budgets.
- Coordinate annual property outgoings audits and associated tenant adjustments.
- Prepare BAS, congestion levy and any other statutory lodgement returns.
- Manage accounts payable processes, payment runs and vendor enquiries accurately and on time.
- Review and record commercial and residential rental income, including receipting of rental collections, prepare arrears reporting and support effective collections.
- Maintain key finance schedules,
records and controls across a multi-entity Group.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and business outcomes.
About You:
- A university degree in accounting or business
- 2-3+ years accounting experience
- Experience with Re-Leased and Sage Intacct, together with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, would be highly desirable.
- Experience with multi-entity group structures
- Strong attention to detail, sound organisational skills and the confidence to take ownership of deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and an interest in understanding the commercial drivers behind the numbers.
- Transparent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- Property or construction industry experience will be highly regarded.
- CA or CPA studies, completed or in progress, will be viewed favourably but are not essential.
