This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within the Venue Service team and help shape exceptional experiences across Council's cultural and civic venues. Working closely with Venue Service, Technical & Operations, the Museum team and Creative Communities, you will play a key role in ensuring our venues are welcoming, professionally managed and deliver outstanding outcomes for visitors, hirers and the community.
This is a full time temporary position until September 2027 (38 hours per week).
This is a Band 5 role with a salary range between $80,490 and $89,430 per annum, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
Strong customer service and event delivery experience
The ability to lead and support others by supervising a team, coordinating events, managing venue bookings or working in a front of house leadership role.
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Confidence leading teams and coordinating staff in a dynamic venue environment.
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Adaptability, professionalism and a willingness to support colleagues to achieve shared outcomes
