ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE

Looking for a contract role that offers genuine flexibility without compromising on the quality of work?

Our client is seeking an experienced FP&A; professional to join the team on a three to four day per week basis for a four-month contract. This position has been intentionally structured as a part‑time prospect to provide flexibility for an experienced finance professional who may be balancing family commitments, consulting work or a lifestyle change.

Our client is focused on securing the strongest capability available and is open to someone bringing a higher level of commercial finance experience on a reduced working week. Reporting to the FP&A; Manager, you’ll partner closely with operational leaders to deliver meaningful analysis, financial modelling and decision support across a diverse organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver monthly management reporting and commercial analysis
- Build financial models and forecasting tools
- Analyse operational and financial performance




- Partner with stakeholders to understand business drivers
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Review labour costs, workforce metrics and operational trends
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and decision making
- Provide commercial insights to support operational leaders

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Demonstrated experience in FP&A; or Commercial Finance
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
- Commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a large or complex organisation will be highly regarded
- Power BI, Power Query or Business Central experience is advantageous
