About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Officer to join our Facilities Management team based in Marrickville.

Our Facilities Management team plays a critical role in maintaining, improving and optimising MTC's portfolio of commercial properties and service delivery sites. The team is responsible for ensuring our facilities are safe, compliant, functional and fit for purpose, creating welcoming environments for employees, customers, visitors and contractors.

Reporting to the Head of Facilities , you will provide essential administrative and project coordination support across a range of property, facilities and site development initiatives. Working closely with internal stakeholders, property agents, consultants and contractors, you will help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and in line with compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Coordinating facilities and site development projects from planning through to completion.
- Managing project documentation, including scopes of work, timelines, budgets and milestones.
- Liaising with contractors, consultants, property agents and internal stakeholders to support project delivery.
- Scheduling site inspections,



compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Monitoring project progress and tracking key deliverables and budgets.
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, building and environmental regulations.
- Providing administrative support to the Facilities team and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Experience in facilities, property, project, or contract administration, ideally within a not-for-profit or community services environment.
- Knowledge of property management principles, lease agreements and relevant compliance requirements.
- Strong administrative and project coordination skills, with the ability to track multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, resourceful and problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-oriented team culture.
