Site Supervisor - Residential - Northern Beaches

A growing residential construction company is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join its team and help manage a steady pipeline of high-quality residential building projects across the Northern Beaches and North Shore.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid carpentry or residential construction background who is looking to step up into site coordination, or an existing supervisor seeking a stable role with a builder that values quality, organisation and teamwork.

We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, communicates confidently with clients and trades, and enjoys keeping projects well organised and moving forward.

About the Role

As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential construction projects and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating trades, suppliers, and subcontractors across multiple active sites
- Monitoring site progress and helping keep projects on schedule
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, selections, and construction documentation
- Maintaining accurate updates in project management systems
- Communicating clearly with clients, trades, suppliers, and internal team members
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they become larger problems
- Supporting site safety, quality control, and general compliance requirements
- Carrying out some hands-on work where required, depending on the stage of the project
- Working closely with the construction leadership team to improve systems, processes, and project outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be practical, organised, calm under pressure, and confident dealing with people.

You will ideally have:





- Minimum 4 years’ experience in residential construction
- Trade background, ideally carpentry
- Solid understanding of residential building processes and construction sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Experience coordinating trades and managing site activity
- Due to the operational requirements of managing multiple residential builds and responding promptly to on-site trade and safety matters, a supervisor based within a reasonable driving radius of Collaroy, in the Northern Beaches, is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with clients, trades, and office-based team members
- A problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership
- Good attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- Ability to follow documented systems, procedures, and company standards
- A positive attitude and genuine interest in growing professionally

Previous experience in a site supervision or project coordination role will be highly regarded, but we are also experienced in training strong carpenters or leading hands to take the next step to become highly skilled Supervisors and Builders.
