About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)to join our growing Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) service.
This advanced practice role is central to deliveringhigh-quality, patient-centred careacross outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary meetings, and research settings. You will play a key role in supporting timely diagnosis, coordinating complex care pathways, and enhancing continuity for patients with ILD.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert clinical support in ILD outpatient clinics
- Coordinating diagnostic investigations and patient pathways
- Delivering patient education, including antifibrotic therapies
- Contributing to ILD multidisciplinary meetings and care planning
- Acting as a key contact for patients and carers
- Supporting research, registry participation, and quality improvement
- Mentoring staff and contributing to workforce development
About You:
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA and postgraduate respiratory experience of at least 5 years
- Strong clinical expertise in complex chronic respiratory conditions
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
