Load Planning Administrator – Port Macquarie

Jim Pearson Transport is seeking a Load Planning Administrator to join our Port Macquarie operations in a full-time position.

n

The Role

n

You'll be part of a high-performing operations team focused on supporting the scheduling of trucks, coordinating loads and ensuring freight moves efficiently, safely and on time.

n

This role also plays an important customer service function, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders by providing timely communication, operational updates and reporting to support service excellence. It's a role that suits someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys keeping things running smoothly.

What you'll do:

- Plan and enter daily freight movements into internal systems.
n
- Assist with pickup and delivery bookings.
n
- Track freight progress and resolve issues to keep schedules on target.
n
- Use computer systems to manage logistics data, maintain accuracy and support the operations team.
n
- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, professional and timely communication regarding freight movements, operational updates and service outcomes.

- Prepare and distribute operational reports, performance updates and freight status information to customers, drivers, management and other key stakeholders as required.
n
- Assist in identifying and resolving operational issues to maximise opportunities.
n

About You

- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
n
- Confident using computers and logistics systems.
n
- Works best in a team that values precision, reliability and performance.
n
- Experience in transport, operations or logistics is highly regarded.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, management, and internal teams.
n
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and the ability to manage stakeholder enquiries professionally and efficiently.
n
- Ability to think on your feet and learn new skills.
