Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an Area Sales Manager, based in Townsville to join our agile Queensland sales team.

- Develop and grow customer relationships across your territory
- Work closely with customers to improve equipment reliability and reduce operating costs
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking and cold calling activities
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant industry regulations
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer service delivery
- Travel throughout your sales territory to carry out sales responsibilities

About the Candidate





- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial sales role or technical sales role.
- OR a minimum of 3 years' experience (in a non-sales role) with mechanical seals, rotating equipment or mining.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Experience in mechanical seals, pumps, rotating equipment or mining would be highly regarded, but not essential
- A relationship-focused approach with the ability to develop long-term customer partnerships
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Townsville region
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own territory
- Permanent residents and Australian citizens only, we are not looking to sponsor.
