Qualified Carpenter position with Point Force Carpentry, a carpentry contractor based in Sydney. Long-term work on the one site, across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches with immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- General carpentry on site: framing, formwork, first and second fix
- Working from plans and setting out
- Working to site programme and deadlines
- Keeping the work area secure and tidy, following site safety procedures
- Working as part of a crew, reporting to the site foreman
About you
- Qualified carpenter — Certificate III in Carpentry or trade equivalent
- Minimum 4 years on the tools
- Current White Card (Construction Induction)
- Own hand tools and reliable transport
- Full working rights in Australia
- EWP, Working at Heights or Asbestos Awareness tickets (desirable)
- Experience running a small crew (leading hand rate available)
- Long-term work on the one site — no chasing the next job every few weeks
- Above award rates
- Long hours available for those who want to earn
- Engagement on ABN, TFN or Pty Ltd — whatever suits the person
- Gear and materials sorted, well-run site
