Mechatronics Engineer

Location: Sydney, NSW

Salary: $120,000 + Super

Brief Intro A growing technology business is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support the development and deployment of automated industrial equipment. The role spans software, hardware, controls and mechatronic systems, with hands‑on involvement across integration, testing and commissioning.

Key Skills/Experience

- Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering or another relevant discipline.
- Experience in mechatronics, software, automation or industrial equipment.
- Experience with sensors, actuators, motion systems, control hardware and automation.
- Microcontrollers such as STM32/ESP32 and embedded firmware.
- PCB design and debugging using Altium, KiCad or similar.




- C++ and Python programming.
- Hands‑on experience with system integration, commissioning, validation and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring and power supplies.
- Solid cross‑functional communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, robotics, machine vision, solar or semiconductor environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with Servo/stepper systems, gantries and industrial automation protocols such as OPC UA is beneficial but not key.
