Position:
n Mechanical Technicians: Heavy Road Transport Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Fitters

n

FIFO / DIDO / Residential - Preference for DIDO / Residential

n

Requirements

n

Trade Qualified Mechanic, Certificate III - Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar.

n

Post-trade experience working in the mining, heavy mobile equipment, heavy road transport industries.

n

Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns and diagnosis (highly regarded), component changeouts and servicing of road transport equipment and heavy mobile machinery.

n

Demonstrated experience with a wide range of OEM equipment.

n

Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams.

n

You will also need to always possess a high regard and practice of health and safety.

n





Additional Experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:

n

Auto-Electrical

n

Structural Welding

n

Light Vehicle

n

Responsibilities

n

Building, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical equipment in field and workshop environments

n

Must consistently prioritise and adhere to health and safety processes and procedures.

n

Collaborating with team members to ensure effective workflow and high-quality outcomes; including strict adherence to Quality Assurance processes.

n

Participating in on-the-job mentoring and training to achieve and maintain high standards.

n
