Job Description

We are seeking a Health and Wellbeing Business Partner to lead and manage our employee wellbeing initiatives in the support of a safe, healthy and engaged workforce. You will be an experienced health and wellbeing professional with excellent communication skills, the ability to influence leaders and have a passion for building safe and healthy workplaces.

About Rous

Our new site has brought together all Council operations under one roof, creating a dynamic, collaborative, and future-focused workplace. Located on a spacious 71-hectare site, the facility has been designed with staff wellbeing, sustainability, and operational excellence in mind. Rous hasan operational footprint covering 3,000km2. As a county council,
we are responsible for providing three specific functions; bulk water supply, weed biosecurity and flood mitigation.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health and safety, health promotion or related discipline
n
- Demonstrated experience in applying contemporary health and wellbeing initiatives
n
- Understanding of relevanthealth and safety legislation and its application
n
- Strong project management skills
n

- Committed to upholding and promoting the highest of health, safety and quality standards

Your average workday will be kept busy by:

- Leading and implementing employee wellbeing strategies and programs.
n
- Coordinating workers' compensation claims, injury management, and return to work programs.
n
- Monitor legislative changes and emerging risks, in the health and wellbeing industry, providing practical guidance and recommendations to leaders across the organisation.
n
- Coaching leaders in understanding the benefits of workplace health and wellbeing support.
n
- Partnering with the Health, Safety and Environment Team to deliver cross-function initiatives (including but not limited to, workforce health and wellbeing metrics, injury management, return to work coordination, and drug and alcohol testing) to guide interventions.
