Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, caring and positive Dental Assistant to join our expanding team. We are seeking someone with at least 1 year of Dental Assisting experience, however, not essential. We are happy to provide full training to the right candidate who has a genuine interest in working in Oral Health and who would be a great fit for our team.

What you'll be doing

n

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and performing other chairside duties

n

Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

n

Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies

n

Greeting patients, checking them in, and ensuring a positive experience

n

Updating and maintaining patient records

n

Assist in providing oral hygiene instruction and education to patients

n

Performing minor administrative tasks as required

n

What we're looking for

n

Certificate III in Dental Assisting desired but not essential

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients of all ages

n





Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation

n

Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team

n

Enthusiasm for the dental industry and a genuine desire to provide outstanding patient care
