An exciting position has become available within the 4WD Central team for aparts store person with immediate start.

We are looking for a motivated individual, who is looking to start a career in the Automotive Industry or have experience in a similar role. You will have a strong work ethic, great interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day functions involved in the warehousing and storage of parts and accessories.

Key Job Function & Accountabilities

n

The Parts Store person carries out a range of duties related to warehousing and storage of parts and accessories, including but not limited to;

n

Identifying automotive parts and components

n

Receiving and unpacking of stock in a timely manner

n

Carrying out storage and stock control procedures

n

Inputting stock into stock management system

n

Picking, locating and charging parts orders for external and internal guests

n

Organising outgoing freight with external transport companies and updating all freight records in a timely manner

n





Organization of damage claims and credit returns

n

Assisting team members within the department to complete necessary daily tasks

n

Take part in virtual and face-to-face training when requested by management

n

Maintain a presentable, safe and healthy workplace in accordance with our standards

n

Building and maintaining Guest loyalty and support

n

Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience

n

Minimum 1-year experience in a warehouse/storage workplace

n

Sound computer skills

n

Having a "guest first" approach to all tasks

n

Excellent time management and organizational skills

n

Desirable Skills / Qualifications / Experience

n

Qualifications in Warehousing and Storage

n
